Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy and handle data in line with India's DPDP Act and the GDPR where applicable.

1. Source code

When you submit a public repository, we clone it to a temporary directory, analyze it, and delete the clone immediately after the scan completes. We do not persist your source code. Generated documentation is returned to your browser and not retained server-side on the free tier.

2. What we collect

• Repository URLs you submit (to perform the scan).
• Basic request metadata (IP address, timestamp) for rate-limiting and abuse prevention.
• For paid accounts: email and billing details, processed by our payment providers (Razorpay/Stripe). We do not store card numbers.

3. AI processing

Repository structure and representative code excerpts are sent to a large-language-model provider via a gateway to generate the analysis. We do not use your code to train models.

4. Your rights

You may request access to or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing privacy@cartographer.aiskillhub.info.

5. Cookies

We use only essential, first-party storage (theme preference). No third-party advertising cookies.
